OUR educational APPROACH
research-Backed, Creativity-Fueled
At Kids Who Flow, we believe in evidence-based, creativity-fueled learning. This intersection of research and creativity allows even the most self-conscious, struggling learners to experience success.
This can only be achieved by working deeply with each child and understanding that child’s unique needs, interests, learning style, and goals. We combine our expertise in education with a true clinical understanding of how to tap into exactly what your child needs, at each step along the early learning journey.
Our approach is three-fold:
A best-in-practice curriculum
Our expert curriculum is grounded in the most current and effective educational research for children from preschool through middle school ages.
The Literacy Lab program includes
25 proprietary decodable books, written just for Kids Who Flow students.
These decodable readers will support your child’s first experiences reading words independently, and aligns with our evidence based scope-and-sequence.
An infusion of creativity
Each child begins the Kids Who Flow program with an initial diagnostic assessment by our founder. This assessment allows us to build a learning profile; to better understand your child and how they learn best.
The learning profile takes into account a child’s educational needs, attention span, and optimal learning conditions, as well as any specialized information (this may include a need for extra support with fine motor or executive functioning skills.)
Expert educators
Our educators hold Master’s Degrees in Education as well as elite training in early childhood.
We truly honor the intersection between educational research & creativity, and we’ve seen students become their most confident, independent, and thriving selves – soaring both in and out of the classroom.
With the support of our expert educators, the magic of early learning is truly
brought to life.

your child says they “hate” reading. they fight you to complete homework.
they come home from school and say that they don’t know as much as the other kids in their class.
they may even be protesting going to school altogether.
no matter how many times you’ve tried to practice together, it just won’t stick.
it feels awful, for both your child and for you.
does this sound familiar?
firstly, we’re here to say: you’re doing a great job.
it’s incredibly hard being a parent and even harder to intervene when learning feels like a struggle!
secondly: we understand how difficult it can be to motivate one’s own child. that’s where we come in.
we apply our expertise in child development and educational research - to connect, guide, and support your child to thrive.
we do this by pairing two important schools of thought that are often separated:
learning can either be research-backed OR it can be fun, engaging, and creative.
spoiler alert… we believe it should and MUST be BOTH!
in fact, we have THOUSANDS of hours of direct support with students ages 4-12 that illustrate just that:
PROGRESS THAT FEELS LIKE JOY.
not only is learning more enjoyable when paired with creativity, it’s actually exponentially more effective.
“it takes 400 repetitions to create a new neural pathway in the brain through traditional instruction.
when learning is done through play, it takes just 10 to 20 exposures!”

what is flow?
flow (flō)
1. noun: the mental state in which a person performing an activity is fully immersed in a feeling of energized focus, full involvement, and enjoyment in the process
2. verb: colloquially referred to as
"in the zone"
why creativity and flow?
Creative flow cultivates a deep sense of focus, engagement, curiosity, and concentration. This is especially powerful for young children, as their brains are in their most formative developmental state.
Did you know that 95% of brain development occurs by age 6?
With Kids Who Flow, you can rest assured that your child will unlock new levels of their academic potential - one magic learning experience at a time.
